Muscle Anatomy: The Quadriceps

In this video post, we explore the location, attachments and actions of the four quadriceps muscles, which include the rectus femoris, vastus lateralis, vastus medialis and vastus intermedius. We also look at a handful of postures that strengthen and stretch the quadriceps, which will vary depending upon whether or not you are targeting the vasti group or the rectus femoris.

I was actually thinking about what was happening in the hamstrings in bow pose as I was writing this, moral of the story do one thing at a time!
